For ‘traditional’ websites, a brief should include: the number of pages – doesn’t have to be exact a rough idea is a good start; whether you have an existing website or need a brand new one; if you require design services it is always useful to list a number of rival websites that you admire – not so that you can copy them more so that Phil can gain a better understanding of what you like aesthetically and what you’re trying to achieve.

Please include all your contact details when requesting a quote/proposal including the following information:
- Your name
- Your company name and your role in the company
- Your company address, phone number and email address
- The nature of your business
It is also handy to know what elements you currently have in place for your project:
- Do you have a domain name already?
- Do you need branding?
- Do you need design services as well as development services or do you have a design in place already?
- Do you need consultancy services in order to flesh out your concept?
The more information you supply the easier it is for Phil to cost your project.
