WordPress 2.5 is coming very soon. ‘So what.’ I hear you cry, ‘WordPress release new versions every other day!’. Well 2.5 is different, it’s actually good.

How long does a small web project really take?
For each of my freelance projects, I note down all the hours worked (on paper). This includes, phone calls, emails, minor changes, CSS debugging etc. At the end of a project I look back and work out how long the project ‘actually’ took - as opposed to how long I thought it took. Here’s an example from a recent project.

Yes it’s true. I blog for one selfish reason: financial gain. The great thing is, it finally seems to be working.
